Would like to open up a answering service from my home. How to do so?
Have been looking for PBX Operator work but very few around
where i live. Have been thinking of maybe opening my own
answering service exchange from my home. What would be
the process i would have to go through. (license, etc. etc.) Does
anyone have any info on this. Thanks for your help.

I really don’t think that this is a good business idea, given the fact that most people and companies already have voicemail and telephone answering machines.

Go to and find the nearest SCORE chapter. Contact them and make an appointment with a SCORE counselor.
