Okay so pretty much i had all these error codes pop up and i was getting really aggravated… so i uninstalled it and i was gonna reinstall it and now everytime i go to install windows live something i have to have a windows service pack x2 or something idk what it is
but idk where it reinstall windows live messenger
please help

You need windows service pack 2 as you stated before it will let you do anything. This can be easily found on microsoft’s website. They make you download this update to ensure your copy of windows is not a bootleg version.

If you don’t have SP2, on the IE toolbar go to tools–windows update, and let the update check your system. Make sure you have a vailid windows installation before connecting to Microsoft update. You can also search the Microsoft website to download SP2.

FYI, I’m experiencing the same issue with MSN at the moment, as our many of my contacts. It seems to be widespread, just wait it out and let MSN resolve the issue.
