live answering service

who offers the best free, web-based e-mail service with very few spam issues???

hotmail is going to change to live beta format. i have tried the new format and i disliked it. i love the orginal format and i wish they were not going to change it.

my husband’s yahoo e-mail sure gets a LOT of spam. is this common for everyone in yahoo?

so, who offers the best e-mail service? what is your favorite and why :)

please stay on the subject and be kind. whoever gives me the most polite and thoughful answer will win my vote.
seriously if you have nothing nice to say do not say anything at all. my husband does not look at porn. this is MY computer and I bought it. i am here 247 and when he is online i am watching him.
THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL KIND ANSWERS I HAVE BEEN GETTING! I WILL KEEP THEM ALL IN MIND :) *HUGS*

Your husband probably gets so many emails because of all the BDSM porno sites hes watching while your not watching. I’d probably divorce your husband and get msn email :)

Whatever mail service you use is subjective; I have yahoo and gmail and prefer gmail. As you say, Yahoo gets a ton of SPAM, gmail forwards spam into a spam folder automatically and is really good at it so you rarely have spam in your inbox.

Gmail’s interface is a bit different but very functional, and you get 2 GB of free storage and a lot of options (like POP forwarding). My money’s on gmail.

I like Gmail and Hotmail the most. Both have very strict anti-spam engines, and all the junk that comes to my mail always goes to the Spam / Junk folder. As you don’t like Hotmail, you can get Gmail. However, you will need an invitation for creating a Gmail account. Can you please post your email-ID here (or mail it to me via my profile), so that I will send you a Gmail invitation? Yahoo! is also nice with unlimited storage and all, but it’s spam filter isn’t working of late; I am getting a lot of spam in my Inbox too.

i am now using the yahoo email and find it ok. It got a few spam emails but why bother since it will automatically ‘dump’ those to the ‘spam’ folder?

I am going to create another new email address for myself as the yahoo email already link to this yahoo! answers. I scare if my accounts been suspended due to some violation (you can’t know why, how and when your accounts would be suspended), so to play safe, i need to create another email. Maybe i will use other web-based email service to have a comparison on different type of email experience.

Yeah, previously somebody recommend one ‘IncrediMail
‘. It is enjoyable to compose mail using that but i found that my PC seems like inviting a lot of nonsense pop-up since then. I don’t know if it is caused by that ‘IncrediMail’, so i uninstalled it. I cannot take the risk. No $$$ to repair PC.

I am a poor worker working for a Jap’s co.

For the minimization of spam, Google’s Gmail is a great tool to use. I too get a great deal of spam with my Yahoo address, but I’ve had my address for so many years, that I simply delete the spam and continue doing what I was doing. I have a Gmail account also, and I can honestly say that I NEVER get spam in my inbox. Not once, and I have had this email address for about two years now. The only setback to using the Gmail account all of the time, is the interface is pretty boring, and it’s just not the same as the Yahoo experience.
