I guess it kinda depends on where you live, but….what temp. do you consider to be cold? I’m in CT and it’s about 45 degrees now, which is comfortable to me. We haven’t had the need to turn on the heat yet this fall. I work for an answering service, where we answer for a couple heating companies. I get all kinds of ppl crying they have no heat when it’s 50 degrees….i don’t get it. Today it was in the mid 60’s and we still got numerous ‘no heat’ calls. Are we all so spoiled that we must be perfectly comfortable at all times. When it gets a little chilly my first instinct is to grab a sweater not the thermostat…but maybe i’m crazy…lol. So anyway, what temp. do you consider to cold?

Well by law 40 or less is considered cold and a heater should be on

i have been in Iraq all year and anything under 85 degrees is freezing

Even though I live in MI, I hardly have any tolerance for the cold. 60 is kinda cold to me. 70 is perfect weather.

i live in central cali and 100 degrees is alright with me. i dislike the heat but whatever. i grew up where it was always snowing. but now, if its around 40 degrees outside, if im walking to school, i actually like the feeling of your heart vibrating from the cold and the sharpness of it on ur legs. my perfect temp: 66 degrees

I’m always cold but I’d say 40 is when I turn the heat on…sheesh Im reading others answers and they think at 40 degs its unbearable?? they need to try living on the east coast in the winter..5 degrees and trying to get up to go to work brrrrrrr im cold just thinking about it

i live in florida but born and raised on long island and 45 is not cold at all i miss that cool weather i wish it was 45 here lol
