ok so i used to have dial up internet(hated it) so i covinced my mom to switch to cable(communicom cable internet) but it is so slow on xbox live i always lag so bad like on halo 3 i dissconect from every game i play so i cant even work on my account anymore and on call of duty 4 i cant even move the same thing happens with any online game i play. my mom will switch to a different internet company (like dsl or cable or something) all i want to know is a realy good isp for xbox live that dosent cost a huge ammount of money a month so if you can help please answer with the isp and their website.

I don’t know what is available in your area, but if you have Verizon phone service, chances are good you can get Verizon FiOS which is fiber optic DSL with the fastest speed I know of at around 15 Mpbs.
Verizon FiOS also offers FiOS TV so your mom could possibly get a deal on having a bundled plan from Verizon with phone, TV, and Internet on the same bill with a bit of a discount.
