I’m planning on switching providers and looking into TMobile or Sprint. Both would work better for me, but I’m wanting to know how the actual service is. Dropped calls, texts, etc. If you’re going to post an answer, please explain your reasoning. I live in Phoenix metro and travel often and to Maryland, Texas, Wisconsin and Illinois (to visit family & friends).
Should I switch my cell service to Tmobile or Sprint?

Sprint has twice the cell phone towers that Tmobile has.

Sprint has more telephone towers, however, you should consider which one has better coverage in you’re area. Check their website to see if they cover your area. Depending on where you live, one might be better than the other.

T Mobile has far less coverage and many more dropped calls (from my personal experience) than Sprint does. Sprint in general has a larger network and faster data transmission speeds with it’s 3g data network (if you may think you need mobile internet).
Having had both Sprint and T Mobile, I can say that Sprint has TERRIBLE customer service (or did 3 years ago) and T Mobile had wonderful customer service.
I think it all comes out in the wash, if you are looking for the best coverage / call quality and a pretty poor customer service team, Sprint is the way to go. If you want fairly good coverage and GREAT customer service, T Mobile is the way to go.

I say go with Sprint, because I have it and I love it! Heard awesome things about TMobile though. I guess you can do that 30 day test drive, or what ever they call it, and try out the new phone/service.
