I have job opportunity woking in guangzhou china as customer service in a multinational company. problem is i dont know the cost of living in china. could any body answer my question? what is the standard salary for customer support in guangzhou china and benefit they usually offered? im from philippines

if u r fr overseas, definately ur salary wil be much higher than compare w/ those mainlanders. usually a clerk or CS agent in China (even fluent in Eng) is just about US$200-250 monthly salary. some multinational group gave higher like US$350 to mainlanders but if for people like us fr HK. they usually willing to pay the “HK standard” to hire u as if they hire anyone fr overseas. he/she must be in a more senior position so to lead the mainlanders. a HK CS agent average had a monthly salary like abt US$1800-2500.
n benefit? they usually offer u housing/food allowance kind of stuffs beside ur basic salary. living standard in Guangzhou is low when comparing w/ HK + Shanghai definately.
