I have been doing some Customer Service in the Medical Field for the last 6 years. I decided to work at a bank doing Customer Service (same line of work, just different field) What do I say when they ask me since I came from the Medical Field, why made me apply at the bank? working at the bank is a totally different field.

I am looking to say something that won’t make them think that I will not be stable & I will leave the bank to work in the Medical Field again. I need a good answer. THANKS!

In registering a Small Business with your states SBA, are you limited in what you can use as your business’ name? What I’m referring to is whether you can use things in your name like the word Professional (ie: ABC Professional Services). Do you actually have to have “professionals” as they are commonly refferred to (legal, medical…) or is it not like that. Can you use the word Corp if you’re not registered as a corporation? Thanks to all who answer.
I’m not looking to misrepresent myself or my potential business. What I was looking for was guidance on if you need specific things to call yourself specific name. Do you need what is commonly referred to as a professional (legal, medical) to call your company “XYZ Professional Services”. Thanks for the answers so far.

Please no stupid answers! i.e. people with experiece in either field.im currently 19 and chosing what to do next. im a licensed medical asst and a limited x-ray tech i am also about three semesters away from getting my AA in biology. i really like the medical field and like what i hear about becoming a Physician assistant, as everybody knows school isnt cheap and i really dont want to get anymore students loans. i did research online and came across the Coast guard and saw the health services tech they offer. my questions is is ther and similarities between a health service tech and a physician asst? what are the chances i get that job? and wha kind of job duties asside from the described on the web site do you preform? any advice would be highly appreiciated especially from those who have done such a job. how is the coast guard life style in general?

Hi everyone. I just need some advice about a legal situation. Please only answer if you are sure.

I know someone who is listed as an employee of a company that a family member owns. He/she does not actually render any services, but pays taxes on the income, and reports all wages to the federal government. He/she gives all money earned to his/her boss, who owns the business by himself.

The reason for this “employment” is medical insurance. The person involved would not have otherwise been able to afford prescription medications and surgery. So the family member offered to put him/her on payroll so that he/she would be covered under a cheaper health insurance policy.

Is this situation legal? Is his/her boss allowed to put him/her on the payroll without him/her rendering services? If word of this situation were to get out, who would get introuble — the employee or the employer, or both? Is it fraud, or just a loophole in the system?

To me it seems like a loophole.

Is it possible to be employed as a secretary whose job responsibilities come to typing, filing, paper work, and answering telephone calls right after graduation from high school or no? When I am talking about ANY secretarial work….I MEAN ANY! whether its medical, a small time business, a corporation, law offices, government, county, or any other places. If not….what can I do if I currently seek that kind of profession or part time job? I have prior military service but what I did in the military has nothing to do with secretarial work. I am good at typing, organization, filing etc. Any answers will help….I really don’t care bout how much is being paid neither…I just want to do the job

Job Description: Must have customer service experience, (preferably from retail establishments, banks, or call centers). Must have excellent phone skills, be able to diffuse angry customers, and work under intense deadlines. Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Duties will include answering large volumes of e-mails, answering phones, and meeting deadlines for each published magazine. Typing speed: 30+ wpm preferred. This family oriented company is looking for candidates who are passionate about what they do and want to help the company grow. The company offers flexibility in schedules, benefits (full medical, dental,vision, and 401K).

I like helping others nd I am interested in pursueing a job in the health field someday. I feel that the experience will be affirming for me and for others.
think it may be too redundant with “i like helping people” and also i tried to short hand/ leave words out cuz i didnt have enough room.
