I have an idea of launching an ONLINE-LIVE-TUTORING service for UK residing students. But, I have NO real contacts in UK to promote this business. Online tutoring delivered from South-Asia(ie,from India & Srilanka) is growing at a rapid rate of 400% per year.Bcoz, south-Asian tutors can deliver the same quality education available in the UK/US via internet for around 1/3rd of the tuition fees in the UK/US. This is a win-win situation. But, we are not a large corporate business to open offices in the UK. Thus I need a firm/person who can promote our services in the UK,and in return, they can earn a lucrative profit. We never charge any franchise fees,upfront fees etc. But, the UK Representer should work well in order to find students by doing some simple activities such as placing news-paper ads,issuing hand bills to libraries etc. There are more than 150000 students in our target group of audience, and if the Rep can find at least 75 of them, they can easily earn approx.GBP 5500/Month. BUT… MY BIG QUESTION IS…HOW CAN I FIND A RESPONSIBLE PERSON ? I can NOT place ads even in sites like Craigs,Gumtree etc., Bcoz,they don’t accept ads from Srilanka,as srilanka is NOT listed on them. I have noticed recently that some members of Y!A seem to make the asumption that their own country is the only target audince for Yahoo! Answers.

It is my understanding that it is a service for anyone in the world. Yet we are getting questions like this:

Then I got advice telling me to go to City Hall for a civil partership. Okay I live in Ireland we don’t have a City Hall.
Then of course theres also “Hey dude go to Wall Mart, cause they have this amazing blah blah blah” Again Wall Mart doen’t exist in my country we don’t have it.

This is suposed to be a global service why are people not aware of that.

I work as an assistant. My duties entail reviewing booking forms submitted by the client and screening the client by verifying their employment, that they are who they say they are, checking databases to make sure they are not criminals or bad clients as reported in the database by other escorts, booking the time in the escorts personal calendar. For this I am paid a flat rate fo reach client she sees. I do not engage in any solicitation nor do I answer any questions that have anything to do with sex for money or the services she offers…what are my legal liabilities here? I work for her, not the other way around.

For the record, there are many phone answering and booking services for escorts popping up. To date, none have had legal problems.

What prepaid phone service should I get? I work all day and only talk on the phone late in the evenings at night. BUT I do text a lot. I Text a WHOLE lot. Deleted Answer: One of my biggest complaints with Yahoo Answers is that they NEVER check to see if the troll that reported you actually was making a genuine report or if it’s a bogus report just meant to cost you points and annoy you. My second biggest gripe is that they don’t respond if you appeal it or ask “What did I do wrong?” Welcome to YaHELL! You’ll never find out who reported you. There are too many people on this site who just live to report folks. It’s all anonymous.

OK, I didn’t ask the question (which, technically, may be violating community guidelines in using insulting language) but simply gave the answer. Can anyone tell me which term of service or community guideline it violates? Or has it just gotten to the point that if you write anything critical of Yahoo then you’re censored?

I might add that I checked and that question is still there.

Does anyone know a phone number one can call to ask question s at the British Consulate, other than the $2.49 a minute outsourced service? There are questions on the C1 form I don’t know how to answer since I was born in Jamaica. I have a valid British passport to submit but the photo is destroyed by dry cleaners. Maybe the questions about my foreign birth are irrelevant. I believe my birth was registered at the Home Office, London soon after I was born.
