The customer service numbers & people are NOT able (apparently) to help me. I am having trouble with Games and Login after using Yahoo! for about six years. NEED to speak with a Yahoo! person …. telephone number PLEASE…& NOT number for any other “answer” service.

I could get a job as an answering service overnight for a Doctor? or as a 911 operator?
I’m bilingual with great custumer service skills.

Dear Sir/madam/automated telephone answering service

Having spent the past twenty minutes waiting for someone at Leith police station to pick up a telephone I have decided to abandon the idea and try e-mailing you instead. Perhaps you would be so kind as to pass this message on to your colleagues in Leith by means of smoke signal, carrier pigeon or ouji board.

As I’m writing this e-mail there are eleven failed medical experiments (I think you call them youths) in West Cromwell Street which is just off Commercial Street in Leith. Six of them seem happy enough to play a game which involves kicking a football against an iron gate with the force of a meteorite. This causes an earth shattering CLANG! which rings throughout the entire building. This game is now in it’s third week and as I am unsure how the scoring system works, I have no idea if it will end any time soon.

The remaining five walking abortions are happily rummaging through several bags of rubbish and items of furniture that someone has so thoughtfully dumped beside the wheelie bins. One of them has found a saw and is setting about a discarded chair like a beaver on speed. I fear that it’s only a matter of time before they turn their limited attention to the bottle of calor gas that is lying on it’s side between the two bins. If they could be relied on to only blow their own arms and legs off then I would happily leave them to it. I would even go so far as to lend them the matches. Unfortunately they are far more likely to blow up half the street with them and I’ve just finished decorating the kitchen.

What I suggest is this, after replying to this e-mail with worthless assurances that the matter is being looked into and will be dealt with, why not leave it until the one night of the year (probably bath night) when there are no mutants around then drive up the street in a panda car before doing a three point turn and disappearing again. This will of course serve no other purpose than to remind us what policemen actually look like.

I trust that when I take a claw hammer to the skull of one of these throwbacks you’ll do me the same courtesy of giving me a four month head start before coming to arrest me.

I have been operating a small fund for the environment for some time now and all the money has been actually coming from my own pocket mainly.
Now we are getting larger and more sophisticated, I dont want to do anything wrong by the ATO so I would like to know when a charity can start to pay some higher workers who do fulltime hours and contractors who provide major services?
I know the money or profit as such (takings/gifts etc) cannot be distributed to the owners or members but are you allowed to legally pay a fulltime worker?
I am led to beleive that MBF medical for example is a non profit organisation but they surely pay their staff a wage to answer calls etc?
When does this become legal to do or is it ok at any level of funding or any size of charity to start paying fulltime workers who have no part of ownership etc of the charity?

I don’t live in the USA, so I cannot use ITunes, Yahoo Music, Amazon. I need a service that can be used outside the USA, and NOT a file sharing service. All the sites I used to use have been “upgraded” to something I don’t want or bought out and changed.

And I DO NOT want one of those services where you sign up monthly and you temporarily get the music as long as you stay a member. I just want to be able to purchase an album, download it, burn it to a CD and make it mine forever! I don’t purchase that often, so I don’t want a monthly charge. Just a service where I pick an album or song and buy it!

Do these exist anymore?

I’m looking for a service that will work outside the USA.

I have been told for years that I have a very unique voice. By both men and women. I’ve had some of my friends call me just so they can let someone else hear my voice. They even call my house phone when I’m at work to let other people hear my message on my answering machine. Some people, friends and just people I meet, say I should get a 900 number. But I don’t want to talk dirty for a living; I think that should be left for the man in my life (smile). Seriously, I am looking for an opportunity to do voice recording for answering services, professorial business, answering machines, etc…. Do anyone have any ideals or possible job leads?

Phase out of Customer Service?

Ok.. so maybe this is a rant but I have noticed lately that MAJOR companies are doing away with their customer service and taking a I don’t care because if you don’t shop here someone else will attitude…

I have seen it with several ministries lately. They have no live people, jsut a computerized system and email to place an order or to make an offering.

I have also encountered this at Wal-Mart (nixing their layaway), AOL (for any free subscribers) Paypal, Ebay, Yahoo, Apple, Kmart, Target, TJMAX, Kohl’s, Marshal’s, etc..

It used to be an irritation anly encountered with the Cable company, now it seems wide spread. It is so frustrating. You waste all your time emailing a problem to some nit wit who doesnt have an answer and then you go round and round in email hell. Makes no sense to me.

The allmighty greed is starting to tick me off!

I am about to move out of my apartment and I need to have my landlord verify that I’ve lived here for over 2 years and making my payments on time. However we don’t have a landlord on site and the number I have to reach them is an answering service. He hasn’t called back in over a week with many messages left. I also don’t know how to send a notice that I will be moving out in a month. Any advice?
Thanks for the answers, I was thinking of adding a note with my rent check. I’ve also tried to get my cancelled checks but the bank is requesting $2 a copy and I need 2 years worth…doh.

I have been doing some Customer Service in the Medical Field for the last 6 years. I decided to work at a bank doing Customer Service (same line of work, just different field) What do I say when they ask me since I came from the Medical Field, why made me apply at the bank? working at the bank is a totally different field.

I am looking to say something that won’t make them think that I will not be stable & I will leave the bank to work in the Medical Field again. I need a good answer. THANKS!
