I’m thinking about adding live chat to my business’s webpage, paying for an operator (overseas?) to take the calls.

What are typical monthly rates for such a service?

I looking for answers from those that are using live chat w/ operator service. (paying for the chat and the operator..)

I am looking desperately for a customer service email position that requires no phone work at all assisting customers with products or services online. I tried applying with Aurolog, but they do not hire in my state. I live in the state of NJ. Can someone be kind enough to help me out please?

If anyone can find me a legitimate e-mail customer service position this would be great. I need to work for a company or someone that hires nationwide.

Other sites have on-line help chat people who can readily answer your personal problems without all this going back and forth stuff, wasting everyone’s time!

ATLANTA (AP) — Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his son before hanging himself in his weight room, a law enforcement official close to the investigation told The Associated Press Tuesday.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Authorities also said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old son who were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard said test results may not be back for weeks or even months.

Autopsies were scheduled Tuesday by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in DeKalb County.

Investigators believe Benoit (pronounced ben-WAH) killed his wife, 43-year-old Nancy, and son Daniel during the weekend and then himself Monday. The bodies were found Monday afternoon in three separate rooms of the house, off a gravel road about two miles from the Whitewater Country Club.

Fayette County Coroner C.J. Mowell did not return calls seeking comment. The answering service for his funeral home said he was out of town.

Authorities also declined to say whether drugs or steroids were found inside the house. “We’re not releasing any information as far as what was located inside the house,” sheriff’s Sgt. Keith Whiteside said Tuesday.

Asked about the condition of the interior of the house, Whiteside said investigators found “nothing really out of the ordinary.” He said Benoit was found in the home’s weight room, his wife in an office and the son in an upstairs bedroom.

Whiteside said toxicology tests could take up to a week or longer to complete.

Neighbors said the Benoits led a low-key lifestyle.

“They were nice,” said Lorre Jones, who lives across the street. Her daughter Alaina said: “We would see Chris walking in his yard from time to time. He wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t really outwardly warm.”

Jimmy Baswell, who was Benoit’s driver for more than five years, placed a white wreath at the Benoits’ gate Tuesday.

“I saw him with his family all the time,” said Baswell. “They always seemed like they were the happiest people.”

World Wrestling Entertainment said on its Web site that it asked authorities to check on Benoit and his family after being alerted by friends who received “several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning.”

The WWE, based in Stamford, Conn., said it had been asked by authorities not to release further information on the deaths.

Benoit, born in Montreal, was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several tag-team titles. His names in the ring included “The Canadian Crippler.”

“WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family’s relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy,” the company said in a statement on its Web site.

Benoit had maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling. The Fayette County Tax Assessors Office lists the value of the house, situated on more than 8.5 acres, at nearly $900,000.

The WWE canceled its live Monday Night RAW card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast.

Benoit’s wife managed several wrestlers and went by the stage name “Woman.” They met when her then-husband drew up a script that had them involved in a relationship as part of a story line on World Championship Wrestling, the newspaper said.

Benoit has two other children from a prior relationship.

Benoit became a standout at an early age among wrestling prospects who trained in the dungeon basement of the house where fellow Canadians and professional wrestlers Owen and Bret Hart trained. Owen Hart was killed during a wrestling event in 1999.

“He was like a family member to me, and everyone in my family is taking it real hard,” said Bret Hart, a five-time champion with the World Wrestling Federation. The federation has since changed its name to World Wrestling Entertainment.

I am 23, so I am not of an older generation who remembers a “better time”.

I reserved a Uhaul for tomorrow for an in town move on-line this morning. I was told when doing this that someone from my local U-haul would be contatcting me before 6pm to set up the exact reservation. I live in Flagstaff, AZ. I went to class and when I came home there were 2 messages on my answering machine from a U-haul in Cottonwood (which is about 50 miles south of Flagstaff) attempting to confirm my reservation for tomorrow. I don’t have a car, so I need to pick-up my Uhaul locally and when I called to straighten this out I was appalled at the phone etiquette of this “business man”.

I called and he asnwered “hello”. I think it is incredibly inappropriate for a business to answer merely “hello” (especially a corporately owned business like U-haul). Then he proceeded to be rude to me. He actaully said, in a snippy voice “Obviously, that didn’t work out”. Are my expectations too high or was this wrong?
I should also add that I work in Customer Service and have for years (currently at the front desk or a hotel and previously waitressing) and I am NEVER rude, even when people are rude to me. Nor did I place any blame on this gentlemen or was I in any way rude to him.

Finding a farrier was simple…finding a trainer, a piece of cake! But, a vet…sheesh! I have tried all of the intital routes one might try to find a vet for my horses (phone book, friends, online) and I have come up with just one vet who sees horses in my area. I have a hard time believing this can be the case with so many farms in western PA? (I had no trouble finding many equine vets when I lived in Utah.)

To make it worse, the ONE vet I did find in the area is extremely difficult to make any appointment with. For all non-emergency vists, you must call him directly between 7:30am and 8:30am…he keeps his own schedule! His answering service doesn’t take messages for routine calls…only emergencies. Is this typical?

Thanks, Jessica. Forgot to mention that I did try Yellow Pages. I did not, however, call other stables, etc. great idea! Sometimes the most obvious answer doesn’t come naturally. Thanks for taking the time.

I posted this same question on qna, I was wondering what response I would get. How are they different? and how are the questions handled differently and answered differently? Is one service more liberal than the other? Which one has been around longer and offers the best answers?

I’m starting a small business and I plan to use a dedicated cell number for the business. But I don’t think it looks good to answer yourself, I want reception services. I’m looking for an internet based company where they can answer the phone by saying “Hello, thank you for calling XYZ, how may I direct your call?” And then forwarding the call, when appropriate, to the cell number. Can anyone suggest a good company for this and how much I might expect to pay? Thank you!

I ask a lot of questions on advice with what to do with difficult problems and I cant believe some of the answers. I wonder if these answers are really what the people would do if they were me, or its all just lip service. I hope most have answered truthfully and I think they have, but I really dont know if they have really thought about just what they would really do in difficult situations. Its easy to give advice, but to actually live by that advice…well thats another story. But I anticipate that it is probably still good to ask questions here, as some answers will be helpful.
